Downloading the Digital Pattern Used

to Make the Digital Paper

• Download the pattern (used to make the

digital paper) in the desired size before you

• Having selected the desired size, use the

Capturx for ArcGIS Desktop printing

dialog to print the digital paper you will use

to print your map

• Open the map you want to update

• Create and place the legend you want to use

on the map you have selected

Map is Reviewed Using the Toolbar

Reviewing Your Changes

• Use the Capturx toolbar to review and

accept or reject the changes you have made

Using the Pen and Digital Map

• Use digital pen to select the desired icons

on the legend and then mark the map to

create the features you have selected

• Dock the Pen and Transmit Data

• Attach the docking station to a PC or laptop

via the USB Port

• Insert the pen in the docking station to

upload the changes you have made it the map

• Use the Penx Control Panel to manage the

pan to select the desired upload option
